This is "Top Hat", one of Heath Robinson's, from 1916. There may be more to follow - his pen-and-ink drawings lend themselves to screenprinting.
William Heath Robinson (1872 – 1944) was an English artist, best known for drawings of unnecessarily complicated machines designed to achieve simple aims.
The term "Heath Robinson" has come to mean any complex and implausible contraption or setup.
