Asterix invades Paris – in the form of my screenprints of the little Gaulish warrior.
A gallery in the heart of the French capital is mounting a solo show of my Asterix screenprints next week and hundreds of posters, pictured, will be plastered around the place to announce the fact.
The show is within a (hearty) stone’s throw of the Louvre, and runs from Thursday December 1, until Sunday December 4.
The Galerie Jean-Baptiste Jacquart – on the Rive Gauche, very near to the Pont Neuf – is at 27 Rue de Seine, 75006 Paris, France and the gallery website address is jbbacquart.com
If you happen to be in the area, please drop by. I’ll be there for the opening on Thursday evening.
The gallery is open from about 11am each morning until about 7pm in the evening, with a break for lunch. The telephone number is 09 81 24 16 18.
Perhaps see you there. JPR
