Brooklands: Hurricane II (on shiny blue paper)

Regular price £70.00

The RAF's workhorse during the Battle of Britain, the Hurricane fighter aircraft was first flown at Brooklands in 1935. It is estimated to have been responsible for 80% of the enemy aircraft shot down in the Battle of Britain.

This is an artist's proof. There's only one of this version, printed white on thin black paper. There are some wrinkles and blemishes.

These are all original screenprints – works of art printed by hand, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil (which is the case here - screenprints are made using screen stencils) that has been created by the artist for the purpose of producing the image.
