I've designed a new Bash Street Kids print, in which Teacher tells his charges that he's arranged ballet lessons for them.
Here I'm using a sheet of acetate to help me register the print with red ink on it in the right place to put the black down.
First I print the red and dry the print. At this point, it's an unintelligible red shape.
Then I print the black on the acetate, which has been hinged to the printing bench with some cellotape ... and position the red print underneath. I then take the acetate away, at which point I know that the black will print exactly on the right place.
And voila!
