Asterix Versus Coronavirus
Fans of Asterix have been familiar with the world's current anti-hero, since he appeared in 2017's book Asterix and the Chariot Race.
The book is by the new Asterix artist-writer team Didier Conrad and Jean-Yves Ferri and features Asterix and Obelix and a chariot race against the favourite, the Roman entrant who is a masked villain called Coronavirus. Julius Caesar tells the organisers to let him win but our Gaulish heroes will have none of it. Obviously.
By the way, the Roman masked charioteer Coronavirus is apparently based on French racing driver Alain Prost.
